Cookie policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Many sites use them for advertising and tracking. We don't.

The cookies we use

DailyGames only sets cookies the site needs to work:

• NEXT_LOCALE remembers the language you chose, so the site opens in that language. It's deleted when you close your browser.
• dg_admin_session keeps site administrators signed in to the admin panel. It's only set when an administrator signs in, can't be read by scripts on the page, and expires when their session ends. Players never get it.

Because these cookies are needed for the site to work and don't track you, there's no cookie banner.

No tracking or advertising cookies

We don't use analytics, advertising or social media cookies. We do count visits, but with a cookieless analytics service that stores nothing in your browser (see the privacy policy).

Local storage

Apart from cookies, the site keeps some data in your browser's local storage, such as your guest player, your recent results, your theme and your saved puzzles. It isn't sent along with every request like a cookie; the site reads it to work. The privacy policy lists every entry.

Managing cookies

You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. The site keeps working without them; it just forgets your language choice, and clearing local storage makes this browser a new guest player.
